Java Security Issues:
This isn't the first time that hackers have discovered exploits in Java - but, we must, once again, disable Java until they get this fixed. There's a strain of malware that is using this security hole to install itself. Follow the steps below to lock down your machine until this gets fixed:
1) Goto control panel / Programs and Features (Add/Remove Programs) 2) Uninstall all old copies of Java (anthing that says Java in the list) 3) Visit java.com and download and install the newest copy of Java. 4) Goto control panel / Java 5) Goto the security tab. 6) Select High on the slider. Hit OK. 7) visit http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp
If you are locked down, the java applet will not load and you should be locked down. From thei point, Java will not load by default. You'll have to click on the applet and give it permission to load.
Stay Tuned
